It has an international airport and modern medical facilities. Don't fail to play tourist during your stay. The colonial and prehispanic history of this city is breathtaking.
Yucatan
Yucatan is a warm, tropical state in the southeast part of Mexico. It is best known for its Mayan history, containing archeological sites like Chichen Itza, Uxmal, and Dzibilchaltun. There are numerous hotels, bed & breakfasts, even apartments for rent in Merida. We can help you set up reservations if you wish. We recommend small hotels such as Cascadas de Merida. It is a quiet, private b&b providing clean, comfortable rooms. The manager speaks excellent English and can provide transport to and from our clinic for checkups, etc.
